Week 1

Week 1 was focused on Learning Theory. The Learning Theories discussed were Behaviorism, Cognitivism, Constructivism and Connectivism was mentioned. It is vital that we gain knowledge on the different Learning Theories so we can have an understanding on how learners learn.

Behaviourism is described as learning through practice, positive reinforcement, and re-shaping what they have learned in the process.

Cognitivism is the understanding of learning in terms of mental processing.

Constructivism is explained as the learning founded upon social interactions within a learning community,
